Parents Club- 2020-2021 School Year Wrap up

As we end our 2020-2021 school year the Parents Club would like to acknowledge everyone who helped us end this year on a high note.

Thank you to everyone who made our first annual school picnic a success. A BIG thank you to the Knights of Columbus who cooked, Tazio Grivetti for lending us his tent, and to all the volunteers who spent a gorgeous Sunday helping us set up, tear down, and clean up. We couldn’t do it without each and everyone of you.

Teacher Appreciation week was May 3rd through May 7th. Each of us know how important teachers are, especially our teachers at St. Edwards. Covid has shown how dedicated they are to our students and how much we as parents depend on them not only to educate our children but help us keep our sanity. The Parents Club tried to show our appreciation, though we know it is not enough. Thank you for making our school year, our school, and our children better.

Sadly, our current Parents Club President, Melanie Walenfang is stepping down from her role. Over the last several years she has lead the Parents Clubs. If you see her around school please thank her for her years of dedication.

Lastly, as we prepare of the 2021-2022 school year we will be setting up quarterly meetings, please look for them on our school calendar. If anyone has any ideas or requests please contact our new Parents Club President Danielle Murphy 309-360-0635 or our VP Jodi Clougherty.

Open Positions:
Treasurer, Secretary, Event Coordinator,

Mr. Domico
