Good morning to all of our St. Edward Jaguar families,

WE MADE IT! We had a very exciting and successful year. Thank you so much for supporting all of our students and teachers. Your involvement realistically guarantees academic success and fosters a family climate that St. Edward is known for.

We have some very exciting news to share with you as we prepare for the opening of school next year. As I’ve stated in previous documents, our multiage classroom format and curriculum will evolve each and every year. And, if one studies the data, multiage classrooms provides development on many levels. With consistent input from our teachers and working with Father Matt, we are adding an aid/teacher to assist our students on a number of levels and needs. Secondly, we are expanding an ‘extended care’ service to our preschool program. This is great news in assisting families needing an all day preschool format. We will publish details shortly. I am truly excited for both of these developments. Go Jaguars!

We ask that you keep Mrs. Meinders and her family in your prayers and good wishes. Mrs. Meinders will be retiring at the end of this year. Her contribution to St. Edward cannot be expressed in this email, however, I would like to say she ran our office as a professional, provided comfort and care for our students, and left no stone unturned in communicating with our parents. Have fun Mrs. Meinders!
