Hey there Jaguars!
This school year has gotten off to a fantastic start, and the students are doing very well! We have lots of fun stuff coming up, so I wanted to send this out to get everyone on the same page. Here's what's coming up:
- This week (9/11-9/15)
- Monday, 9/11 - 6th-8th Grade Tolton Show Field Trip
- Wednesday, 9/13 - Midterm grades will be sent home with 3rd-8th graders. We're already halfway through the first quarter!
- Thursday, 9/14 - Vision and Hearing Screenings. 1st, 3rd, & 8th will receive vision tests, and Kindergarten & 2nd will receive both vision & hearing.
- Friday, 9/15 - School Picture Day. Your student is able to dress up on Friday for their pictures. Please just make sure outfits are within dress code :) Preschoolers - if you'd like to have your picture taken on this day, please let the office know ASAP!
- Next week (9/18-9/22)
- Thursday, 9/21 - School Picture Retake Day. This will be Preschool's official picture day, too. If you'd like to have your picture redone on retake day, please let the office know as soon as you can!
- Friday, 9/22 - Early Release for SIP. We will be out at 10:40am. Bus service will still be available.
- Friday, 9/22 - IVC Homecoming Parade! St. Edward School will have a spot in the parade, so please join if you can! We will also have a few students in the Jr. High Marching Band, among other floats! The parade starts at 3pm, and the football game starts at 7pm.
- And beyond!
- Tuesday, 9/26 - T-shirt & Popcorn Day. Your student is able to wear St. Edward apparel, and every will receive popcorn at lunch
- Friday, 9/29 - Parent's Night Out! Contact Jodi Clougherty at jclougherty@sainted.org for more information.
- Wednesday, 10/4 - PND 8th Grade Academic Adventure Day! More info on this will be going out soon.
- Friday, 10/6 - No School. Diocesan Institute
- Saturday, 10/7 - St. Edward Auction! RSVP information will be sent home today, so be sure to send that in to attend this super fun and beneficial event!
- Monday, 10/9 - No School. Indigenous People's Day.
