The Student Council sponsored a friendly competition of collecting treats for veterans and the troops! In all we collected over 67 pounds of candy! Several students delivered goodie bags to Evergreen and Arc. Care packages are being mailed to troops in San Diego, New Orleans, North Carolina and even Germany! 🇺🇸 God bless our troops and veterans!

St. Edward Catholic School Finance Informational Meeting - Public Welcome
The St. Edward Catholic School Education Commission Finance Sub-Team welcomes you to an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 6:30 in the parish hall. We will present a historical view of our school’s top line finances and highlight some programs you may be interested in. You are also welcome to come with suggestions for our team to consider. What's one of the things that makes our school special? Our older students get to spend time reading with our younger students! To finish out our Blessed Buddy Day, students joined together to spread the love of reading. What a great way to start our weekend!
To celebrate our Blessed Buddy Day, we had Culver's Custard! Our kids have worked hard and deserved a fun treat to end the week. We love those happy faces!
Today was Blessed Buddy Day here at St. Edward School! Our dress down theme was "Country or Rock'n'roll," and our kids nailed it!
Hey Jaguars! Don't forget to keep scanning those box tops!!!! If you would prefer we scan them, just send the receipts in to school with your kiddos and we will take care of that for you and send it back home! There is a 2 week window on receipts to be scanned.
5-6 Religion class is learning about God's forgiveness this week. Here they are acting out a modern day version of the Prodigal Son.
Sister Clare visited the 5-8 grades today and taught them about Catholic Charities in Peoria. She also showed them a Samoan dance before she left! Thank you Sister Clare!
The Student Council had a busy morning raking leaves for some parishioners and at the school!! 🍂 🍁 ☀️ They worked really hard all morning and had fun at Mr. and Mrs. Tomlin’s house for a cookout and bonfire 🔥 afterwards! Great job, Jaguars!! 🐆 Special thanks to the parent/staff volunteers: Mr. Skalet, Mrs. Grivetti, Mrs. Rupiper, Mr. Bennett, Mr. Weber, Mr. Tomlin and Ms. Tomlin! Shout out to Father Martin, Mrs. Tomlin and Mrs. Bennett for joining us at the cookout!
🍁FUN Spelling, FALL style🍂! The second-graders loved doing leaf rubbings and writing their spelling words on their leaves!
The preschool has started a unit on Fall this week. Today, they were able to get outside and find some things in nature that tell them it's fall!
