St. Edward will now be incorporating a Spanish Program in our K-8th grade curriculum! We're excited to see our students excel this upcoming school year.
St. Edward is excited to announce that this summer, 48% of our students signed up for our summer enrichment program that Mrs. Humphreys and Mr. Finch created. Mrs. Humphreys will be monitoring their progress throughout the summer. The whole goal of this program is to keep our students engaged in learning, so they do not regress as much during the summer. We are so excited about this program and how our families and students are eager to participate.
We are also having Mr. Finch's Summer Reading Program where our kids are encouraged to read throughout the summer. They have to fill out a book report and log how much time they read this summer. Great things are happening at St. Edward!
St. Edward School will be offering an After Care program for our students this upcoming school year! Contact Principal Garry Finch at gfinch@sainted.org for more information, or to sign up today!
☀️Another fun-filled Field Day is in the books! Thank you to all of the hands that reached out to help! From racing with pizza boxes, to dumping water buckets on your friends, from Whooshball to tic-tac-toe races, from scarfing down hotdogs to doing the Cupcake Walk, from a water balloon spoon relay to a human Hungry, Hungry Hippo, it was such a great day to be a Jaguar!🐆
🏅Saint Edward Awards Day 2024🏅Our students are the best you will ever find. ❤️ A Jaguar is up for any challenge, knows how to get involved in school activities, is determined to try new things, is dedicated to their school and team, cheers their peers on, learns something new every day, and makes us all proud to be called a Saint Edward Jaguar! 🐆

🎓Graduation was a wonderful day! Thank you to everyone who made this day possible, including parents, students, and staff. Congratulations to our graduates: Annalise, Ava, Clare, Izzy, Kyle, Lucie, Megan, Renee, and Sasha! We're so proud of all of your accomplishments, and may God bless you all on your high school years and beyond. Go Jaguars!🐆
The Jr. High had a great time at the annual lock-in last weekend! They started the evening at Mass and then headed over to the school for games, competitions, and tons of snacks and pizza! Everyone enjoyed bingo, blind volleyball, team building activities, minute to win it, and the nerf war! The 7th and 8th grade classes had a blast making a candy salad! A huge shoutout to all the parents who came and helped throughout the night! The night was a huge success!!
We had our preschool graduation today! Their friends and families got to watch as they accepted their certificate and got ready to move on to kindergarten next year. Congratulations to our graduates. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you!
A bit late, but better late than never, right? Last Thursday, the preschoolers celebrated Miss Elizabeth's birthday with a trip to Dairy Queen. We walked over and got the Chillicothe police to block traffic for us! As you can see, they loved the special treat.
The 7/8 Social Studies class just finished their chapter on World War II. Ms. Tomlin brought in her Great Uncle Chuck's uniforms, books, and even a top secret letter from his time as a pilot in the Army during WWII. The students had a great time trying on the uniforms!
☀️Picnic and Open House going on till 3:00 today! 🍔Lots of free food and fun for the family! Come join in!
Your St. Edward Newsletter for this week of May 5th!
